Frightened Rabbit, along with Craig Finn (of the Brooklyn-based The Hold Steady) covered the 1976 Elton John cracker "Dont go breaking my heart".
Performed live at Terminal 5 in NYC this cover is great. Truly. They stay true to the clangy, sing-a-long 70's tune, yet make it totally rockable.
I cant help but smile at the gravelly Rod Stewart-esque opening lines and I totally believe everything he's singing (which can often be the downfall of covers).
